§ 305-20. Yield intersections.

    The intersections set forth in § 305-95 (Schedule XII) (in addition to intersections with the through highways established by § 305-18) are established as yield intersections, and official yield signs shall be erected (or are ratified if previously erected) in such a position as to face traffic approaching the second-named street (the through street) on the first-named street (the yield street) in the direction or directions indicated for that intersection. Every driver of a vehicle approaching the intersection on the first-named or yield street, in the direction indicated in each case, shall slow down or stop the vehicle as required by Section 3323(c) of the Vehicle Code and then yield the right-of-way as required by that subsection of the Vehicle Code.

    Any person who violates any provision of this section shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of $25 and costs.
