§ 305-22. Vehicle weight limits.

    On the bridges and streets or parts of streets set forth in § 305-96 (Schedule XIII), by authority granted by Section 4902(a) of the Vehicle Code, it shall be unlawful for any person or persons to drive any vehicle or combination having a gross weight in excess of the maximum prescribed in said § 305-96 (Schedule XIII) for that bridge or street or part of street, as the case may be.
    B. 
    Any person who violates any provision of this section shall be prosecuted under Sections 4902(a) and 4902(g)(1) of the Vehicle Code and, upon conviction, shall be sentenced to pay a fine of $150 plus $150 for each 500 pounds or part thereof in excess of 3,000 pounds over the maximum allowable weight, and costs.
